The BA Program

BA Program was created BY women FOR women. We take a holistic approach to coaching women both pre & post operation to optimize their fitness and enhance the outcomes of their surgical investment. One of our main goals is avoiding unnecessary revisions that come about from weight lifting with breast implants or poor post op nutrition and exercise progression. By preparing the body before surgery, supporting recovery afterwards, and safely re-integrating exercise, we help our clients achieve the best possible results and maintain them long term.

What to expect

  • First we establish nutrition that is optimal to heal. Low inflammation, making sure there is ENOUGH food, but not so much that there is a significant gain in bodyfat. Next, gut health. We want you to be able to absorb and digest nutrients. This also impacts the metabolism of course (which we have found is a common concern). Next, the pec muscles (if you are having a BA). We want them as loose as they can be. If you are having a TT, we want to help you lose as much bodyfat as possible prior so that you will not need to consider a second surgery, while also keeping your nutrition optimal for the healing journey ahead. We want your mindset in the right place. We want to set you up for a successful healing journey.

  • We are focused on eating whole foods, keeping calories at maintenance and ensuring enough protein is consumed. We want you to have BMs right away and we will monitor residual bloating (and ensure the gut is repopulated after antibiotics), work on mindset through the ups and downs of these early weeks, and easing into lower body and walking as cleared. If you have had a TT, we will be monitoring swelling and helping you through the mental battle of the inevitable scale fluctuations. If you had a fat transfer BA, we will want to do everything we can to ensure the maximum amount of transferred fat “takes”. 

  • We are now focusing on learning to lift weights again in a way that protects the investment and limits pec engagement. We like to focus on making sure you understand the difference between “this is going to mess something up I should stop” and “this feels weird because I have a giant foreign body under my pec” and ensuring you are not overthinking everything and afraid. We will work on this for as long as needed (patient dependent) before setting new goals (this could be lower body muscle gain, losing bodyfat, etc). If you have had a TT, once cleared, we will be working on deep core exercises to further tighten your waist and enhance muscle repair results if you had that done as well. Furthermore, if you had LIPO, we will teach you the skills you need to KEEP that bodyfat off for good and enhance your new shape.
